Sony Vaio with a prototype 3D LCD display 240Hz

Sony show off a prototype notebook equipped with sophisticated 240Hz LCD screen and supports 3D. Engadget has been showing the display device, which uses an integrated IR transmitter to synchronize with active shutter glasses Bravia.

Please note that the screen is usually only have 65-85 Hz refresh rate of 240Hz prototype is promising to be a truly convenient screen for viewing the eyes and does not damage the eye because the higher this value is less then our eyes get tired.
The prototype uses a series of VAIO notebook chassis M 16-inches, but the production version will be released in the year 2011 will most likely be placed in a different chassis body.
It is unknown whether the notebook will be bundled with a set of 3D glasses or users need to buy it separately. Pricing for the notebooks is not known, but must compete with other 3D notebook on the market.
