Flexible AMOLED display from Samsung

Samsung Mobile Display (SMD) is developing an AMOLED screen is durable and can be bent when displaying video without damaging the screen. This screen prototype 2.8-inch size and has a resolution 166ppi. It weighs only 0.29g and is only 20 micrometers thick. Samsung believes can bring this AMOLED display on the world market in 2012.

Such screens would be useful especially on smartphone devices, which will bring a new level for in terms of thickness and durability as well as allowing the development of new device form factors. SMD is planning to introduce the TFT on plastic panels and to replace the existing protection of sheet vinyl with a polyimide film to prevent residue when the light emitted.

MSI Wind12 U230 Light Netbook

MSI also launched the U230 Wind12 Light that comes with 11.6-inch LCD screen that is smaller with LED-backlit and a resolution of 1366 × 768px. This new version of the ultra portable, lighter, smaller than a sheet of paper the size of A and lightweight only 1.5 kg including batteries.

According to MSI, U230 Light optimized for energy efficiency and provide mobile computing with low power consumption and the energy-saving features. Running on a 64-bit operating system Windows 7 Home Premium.

Cisco launched a tablet for home energy management (HEM), which is designed to provide the latest energy information and budgeting to help you optimize your home energy usage.

Tablet Home Energy Controller (HEC) is powered by Intel Atom 1.1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and flash memory up to 64GB. This tablet using 7-inch touchscreen display 800 × 4.80px capacitive and supports Ethernet LAN, 802.11b/g/n WiFi connectivity. HEC 2.6.29 running Ubuntu Linux for Mobile Internet Devices.

Some models will be released tablets to meet the different needs and some models also have 3G connectivity.

Mode disables the telephony service in windows 7

Telephony is a feature that works when you connect your computer with a telephone, for example your telephone or mobile phone using a modem to your computer for Internet connection, and a variety of data communication applications between mobile phone and telephone.

If you do not use hp as a modem to your computer, then the telephony features you should turn off (disable) it, so as not to burden your windows.
If you use a cell phone modem to your computer, then this feature is not turned off.

Procedure disable (disable) telephony in Windows 7 are :
1. In search box type in services.msc then hit enter
2. Choose telephony
3. In the Startup type select disabled
Click Apply, then OK
