Dream store 128GB of data from PC to an optical disc / single disk is now closer to reality with the announcement of the burner BDXL which is short for Blue Ray Disc Recordable Format (BDR-206MBK model) from Pioneer & Buffalo to Buffalo where they will market This burner drive as an external model with a USB 2.0 connector (BRXL-6U2) and internal models with SATA connection (BRXL-6FBS-BK).This latest BDXL Drive can handle BD-R XL 4-layer (128GB) and 3-layer (100GB) at 4x speed in addition to 3-layer BD-RE XL and older versions BD-R/BD-R and BD-RE DL / BD-RE DL Blu-ray type of disk media.
